CMP Director Gary Anderson conducted a two and one-half day “Pairs Clinic” at the Palmyra Sportsmen’s Association in Palmyra, Pennsylvania on 5-7Dec03. The clinic was organized by Pennsylvania State Junior Director Erin Gestl. The 2 ˝ day clinic provided instruction and range firing practice for nine pairs of junior shooters and accompanying coaches who represented different clubs in Pennsylvania. The instruction covered the shooting positions, shot technique, mental training, motivation and goal setting, training and preparing for competitions. The junior shooters represented programs that offered sporter air rifle, precision air rifle and three-position smallbore rifle.
