CMP Announces Upgrade to Tracker’s National Matches Registration Process
By Steve Cooper, Marketing Manager
|
CAMP PERRY, OHIO – Competitors who are registered for the 2013 National Matches will now have much greater freedom to manage the details of their registration, thanks to the latest upgrade to the CMP’s Competition Tracker data management system.
“We are pleased to announce continuing improvements to our shooters’ competition experience, here at Camp Perry for the National Matches, but also for all future CMP matches and games events,” said Christie Sewell, CMP Programs General Manager.
The latest upgrade to Competition Tracker allows shooters to see their registration and make changes to it, including adding, deleting or changing elements of their match schedule.
When a competitor registers for a match on Competition Tracker, they are issued a registration number that’s tied to their match. Once shooters get their match registration number they are able to check their status, add or cancel specific events in the match or cancel their registration altogether. Competition Tracker will indicate when shooters have been moved into a match. At that time they can see all the matches they’re registered for and their payment status.
It’s a great management tool that will save time for both the competitor and the CMP match registration staff. CMP staff will be able to track any changes competitors make to their registration. If shooters alter their match registration status, CMP will be automatically notified, keeping both parties on the same page.
The CMP’s Competition Tracker was developed several years ago to keep track of shooter registration, historical and live competition results, Distinguished shooter status, upcoming match schedules, club affiliations and more. In 2012, the Tracker program was significantly revamped, opening the door to greater access to shooter information. Competition Tracker will continue to grow and develop to meet the needs of the CMP’s users.
